Fringe By Carrie

“A Wisconsin native, born at the end of the ‘70s, Carrie Beth McWithey happily found herself surrounded by little else than nature and the changing seasons. Her love for raw, authentic and imperfect things grew over the years, as she pursued photography, ceramics, and writing in college. During these years, she picked up a bit of crochet, which, as a self-supporting hat business, wove her through the last 17 years. A year ago, with the help of a friend, she intentionally switched gears, bending herself back to the raw, earthy forms of expression, using mediums of gemstones, metal, and nature. Copper is her passion. It earns its patina, through time and elemental nature itself.”
