In Gratitude

As a volunteer based organization, with all the funds raised going directly to the artists, Community Palette relies heavily on the generosity of it’s supporters to continue it’s grand mission.

Our immense gratitude goes out to our 2014 supporters. Without them, the Inaugural Community Palette “Artist Showcase” Event, and ” Imagine, Recreate, Fashion!” could not have been brought to life.

We would like to thank first, Nicholas DeLuca, of Create Technologies, and OAS design group inc. for your pivotal support of our organization in it’s incubator phase, as well as hosting the “Artist Showcase” in 2014.

The Arts Council for Monterey for it’s generous cash contributions to the winning artists in both events.

Pistons and Pearls hair salon, and GAGA Hair Lounge provided fabulous hair styling for the ” Artist Showcase” fashion show.

Serendipity Farms and MEarth for their produce donations towards the dinner.

Madeline Wines donated wine pairings for each course of the dinner, and donated 100% of their profits towards the artists.

Happy Girl Kitchen has been an ongoing supporter of Community Palette and our events would not have the same vivacity without the inimitable Todd Champagne!

We would like to thank Earthbound Farms and Eco Carmel for their contributions to the silent auction at the 2014 Artist Showcase.

The winning artists from the “Imagine, Recreate, Fashion!” were happy to find in their prize bags, gift certificates from the following merchants: Eco Carmel, Cat’s Meow, Affina, Carmel Belle, Light Dwellings, Madeleine Wines, Flannigan’s Irish Pub, Lafayette Bakery, Yellow Brick Road, and Mundaka.

Incredible Hair and Makeup styling was done by Gina Marie Davi from Venus Salon, Sehra Evans, and Gwendolyn Reagan.

Special thanks is also deserved by Melinda from Cat’s Meow, who contributed her creative energy to the event, as well as giving artists open access to her store to use as a resource for materials.

The support that we have received from the Monterey Regional Waste Management District has been heartwarming. Not only did they donate gift certificates to the winners of “Imagine, Recreate, Fashion!” but they also provided artists with open access to Last Chance Mercantile as a resource for creation.

Finally, we would like to thank the Arts Council of Sand City for planting the seed for ” Imagine, Recreate, Fashion!”, for building the catwalk and providing our backstage tent for the same event, and for their ongoing support of our endeavors in the coming year.

We couldn’t have done it without you!
